The Centre is managed by rev. prelate Stanisław Kaniewski (kaniewski@csr.org.pl) and Tomasz Bilicki (bilicki@csr.org.pl). It was founded in 1998 by the Archbishop of Lodz and co-operates widely with public administration, as well as with prolife and pro-family movements on the area of Poland and abroad.

The mission statement of the Centre states:

‘providing decent living conditions and development opportunities, pro-family activities, crisis support services for families and persons unable to deal with their life problems’.

Family Support Centre provides services via:

· Family, psychological and legal counselling

· Information/ Intervention Centre for Victims and Perpetrators of Violence

· Stop Violence helpline

· Archdiocese Adoption-Caring Centre

· Prof. Włodzimierz Fijałkowski Parents School

· Pro-family Centre

· Social Education Centre

· Stanisława Leszczyńska Maternity Protection Fund

· Material Assistance Centre

· Eating places

S. Leszczyńska Home for Single Mothers:

· Currently the area is being prepared for development and the centre is to be opened in 2010.

· It will be the area of approx: 1500 square metres, modern and standardised centre for pregnant women and mothers of small children (for 60 residents), situated near FCS Centre in Broniewskiego Street in Lodz.

· The surrounding area will be developed as a playground and a walking spot.
